The problem
A facilities operator had the energy bills. What they didn't have was any way to see which zone, on which site, was driving them.
Approach
Power draw now reads per zone in real time, with historical trends and an alert the moment a zone burns more than it should — one dashboard covering every site. The readings are a time-series problem at real volume, so they're stored in InfluxDB rather than bolted onto a relational database that wasn't built for that rate.
