— Protocol

Process

Everything between a first conversation and a system that's still running a year later: how we build it, where it runs, and who keeps it healthy.

— Build it

Development

Every project takes the same route from first conversation to delivery. Here's what that route looks like from your side.

  1. Discovery

    01 / 04

It starts with a conversation — a quote request through the site, or a call. We ask what the product has to do, who it's for, and what a good outcome looks like, until both sides are describing the same thing. Nothing gets built before that picture is shared.

  2. A scoped proposal

    02 / 04

Then we write it down: what's being built, in what order, and what it costs. You approve that before work starts, so the plan you agreed to is the plan we work to.

  3. Building, visibly

    03 / 04

Once we're building, you get a live project panel in your account — status, offers, payments, and a direct line to us in one place. You can follow progress and steer it while changes are still cheap, instead of waiting weeks for a reveal.

  4. Review and handoff

    04 / 04

You review what we've built, we refine it, and then we hand it over. Ownership of the delivered work transfers on full payment, as set out in our terms.

Infrastructure

Software has to run somewhere. This is who sets that up, who operates it, and what happens if you ever want to take it over.

  1. Hosting, by default

    01 / 04

Unless you'd rather handle it yourself, we provision and manage everything your project runs on — hosting, domains, storage, and the deployment pipeline around them. You get something production-ready without first having to become an infrastructure expert.

  2. Or your own accounts

    02 / 04

If you already have cloud accounts, or your organization needs everything under its own roof, we deploy there instead. We'll lay out the trade-offs either way, then work with whichever you choose.

  3. Access and credentials

    03 / 04

API keys, server access, third-party accounts — anything you share for infrastructure work is stored encrypted and used only for your project. When the work is done you're free to rotate or revoke it; we'd rather that than hold keys nobody needs us to have.

  4. Handover

    04 / 04

If you ever want your infrastructure brought in-house or moved to another team, we help you transfer it cleanly — accounts, domains, and the documentation to go with them. Nothing we run for you is a reason you can't leave.

Maintenance

Shipping isn't the end of the story. Here's how the period after launch works.

  1. Right after launch

    01 / 04

For a short window after delivery we stay close to the project and put right anything that isn't behaving the way we agreed it would. We treat that as part of finishing the job properly, not the start of a new one.

  2. Ongoing support

    02 / 04

Beyond that — new features, monitoring, updates, someone to call — we set up an arrangement sized to the project. A brochure site and a system with daily users don't need the same thing, so we don't sell them the same plan.

  3. Staying current

    03 / 04

Platforms move: dependencies get deprecated, APIs change, security advisories land. On the projects we look after, we keep an eye on what yours depends on and raise what needs attention, rather than letting it quietly rot.

  4. One point of contact

    04 / 04

Anything that comes up after launch goes to one place — your project panel, or a message straight to the people who built it. No ticket maze, no wondering who to ask.
